Documents you MUST have to take our boat:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License for person renting boat.
- Valid Driver’s License for person(s) designated to drive the boat if different from renter.
- Boater’s Certificate if born on or after January 1, 1984 for every person(s) driving boat.
- Credit Card to be held on file during rental.

Please Note:
- Late Return Fee: $50 for every 15 minutes late – Strictly enforced
- Fuel Costs: Each rental starts with a full tank of fuel. Boats must be returned full of fuel, that cost is your responsibility. A surcharge applies to boats not returned with a full tank of fuel.
- Company Policy states the maximum number of guests on our boat is 10 including adults and children with a maximum weight of 1692 lbs. including people and gear.
- Missouri state law states anyone born on or after January 1, 1984 MUST possess a valid boating certificate in order to operate any vessel on MO waters.
- For online certification go to www.boat-ed.com/MissouriRental. This certificate EXPIRES 7 days after course completion.
- Valid out-of-state NASBLA boating cards or a valid USCG Captain’s License are acceptable.
Terms & Rental Policies
Damage Waiver
$50 Non-Refundable Damage Waiver – A $50 damage waiver is non-refundable and must be placed on a valid credit card. If Lessee returns rented Watercraft and/or Equipment damaged (except ordinary wear and tear), and the Company determines, in its sole discretion, that Lessee did not directly or indirectly cause said damage and that the Lessee is otherwise in compliance with this Agreement, Lessee shall only be held responsible for up to $1,000.00 of damages. If Lessee is found negligent by the Company, or otherwise violates any provision of this Agreement, determined by the Company in its sole discretion, Lessee shall be responsible for all losses, payable immediately.
Reservation Policies
Full payment is required upon booking. Lessee acknowledges that Company’s ability to provide the Watercraft and the Equipment is contingent upon and subject to the return of the Watercraft and the Equipment by the previous lessee, as well as other cause beyond Company’s control. Should Lessee not be present or not ready to accept delivery of the Watercraft and/or the Equipment, for any reason, at the specified time, Company reserves the right to rent the Watercraft and/or the Equipment to someone else. Further, Lessee understands that when the Watercraft and Equipment are reserved, the Watercraft and Equipment are no longer available for other customers and therefore Company cannot commit the Watercraft or Equipment to another customer during the reserved dates/times.
Consequently, in the event Lessee cancels, changes date, shortens the rental period, or in any other way seeks to change the rental period, the entire reservation payment shall still be due and payable. Company reserves the right to cancel reservations due to inclement weather or any other cause, which includes, but is not limited to, strong winds, heavy rain and/or thunderstorms. In the event you cancel your reservation two days prior to the reservation date, Papa Chubby’s Rentals will honor a Future Credit equivalent to the original rental amount. Any cancellations after this time or if you “no-show”, you will not receive a credit and Papa Chubby’s Rentals will retain 100% of the funds paid to date. Future Credits expire within one calendar year of original reservation.
