Resort Policies

Helpful Information for Your Stay

Papa Chubby’s Lakeside Resort is committed to creating a safe, enjoyable, and family-friendly environment for every guest. The following policies ensure a positive experience for all visitors and help maintain the relaxing lakeside atmosphere our resort is known for. By staying with us, guests agree to follow the policies below.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are observed from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please be respectful of fellow guests during this time. All radios, stereos, and outdoor speakers must be turned off, and loud music is not permitted at any time.

Children

Children must comply with the 11:00 p.m. curfew and be at their RV site or cabin—or accompanied by an adult—by that time. Children may not be left unattended anywhere in the resort. Bicycle riding is not permitted after 9:00 p.m. For safety reasons, children are not allowed on boat docks without adult supervision. Guests are responsible for the actions and safety of their own children and any visiting minors at all times. A child is defined as anyone under the age of 18.

Visitors

All visitors must be registered at the office upon arrival, and guests are required to notify the office in advance of any expected visitors. Visitors cannot access the resort without prior approval from the registered guest.

Docks

Covered docks are reserved for registered dock slip holders only. Sleeping on boats or docks is not permitted. Jumping or diving from the docks is strictly prohibited.

Gasoline Containers

Gas cans of any type are not allowed anywhere on the property at any time.

RV Standards & Site Cleanliness

RVs must be clean and well-maintained to be accepted into the resort. All trash must be bagged, tied securely, and placed inside onsite dumpsters. Littering anywhere in the resort is strictly prohibited.

Speed Limit

The resort speed limit is 5 MPH. Failure to obey the posted speed may result in forfeiture of camping privileges. Guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors adhere to resort driving rules.

Motorized Vehicles

All motorized vehicles must be street-legal, registered, and insured. Mini-bikes, dirt bikes, go-karts, gas scooters, ATVs, and excessively loud golf carts are not permitted. Papa Chubby’s is not responsible for damage, injury, or theft involving motorized vehicles.

Golf Carts

Golf carts are permitted only when operated responsibly and by licensed drivers. Carts must remain on gravel or paved roadways and must have working headlights and taillights if operated after dark.

Alcohol

Alcohol may only be consumed by persons age 21 or older. Please drink responsibly and with courtesy to others.

Air Conditioning Usage

Air conditioners may not be left running when the guest is away from the site for more than 24 hours. Because individual electric meters are not currently installed, failure to comply will result in a $100 per day fine. This policy is subject to change as electrical improvements are completed.

Safety Regulations

Weapons, fireworks, explosives, bow-and-arrows, slingshots, BB guns, compressed-gas weapons, and similar items are not allowed anywhere on the property. Papa Chubby’s supports the Second Amendment; however, firearms are permitted only for legally registered owners with valid state permits and are prohibited near or around the restaurant. Electric insect zappers, kerosene heaters, electric heaters, and similar equipment are not allowed within the park or on docks.

Construction & Modifications

No construction or modifications may be performed without written permission from management. Digging, freestanding structures, and attaching items to trees or resort property are not permitted.

Swimming & Water Safety

Swimming is allowed only in designated swimming areas. There is never a lifeguard on duty—swim at your own risk.

Boater Rules

Please observe NO WAKE buoys located approximately 100 yards from our docks.
